The Esthetician Program consists of 600 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices of skin care in accordance with state requirements. This program is delivered through a hybrid format: 50% online theory and 50% hands-on, on-campus training.
What You'll Learn
Technical instruction includes demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, and evaluation. Practical operations include the performance of services on clients under instructor supervision and are completed on campus in a professional training environment.
Facials & Skincare — Your Core Expertise
Skin analysis. Manual facials — cleansing, scientific manipulations, packs, and masks. Electrical facials — using all electrical modalities and dermal lights. Chemical facials — professional-grade peels and treatments. Client consultation and contraindications.
Hair Removal & Brow Artistry
Eyebrow shaping and beautification. Waxing, tweezing, sugaring, and depilatory techniques. Eyelash and brow tinting and perming. False eyelash application. High-frequency, high-loyalty services that keep your book full.
Makeup Application & Artistry
Color theory and facial analysis. Daytime, evening, and bridal makeup application. Artificial eyelash application. Client consultation, skin preparation, and sanitation practices for professional makeup services.
Safety, Science & Professionalism
Disinfection and sanitation protocols (100 hours minimum). Hazardous substance handling. Health and safety laws, ergonomics, and communicable disease prevention. CPR/AED certification prep. Salon management and career development.

Program Policies & Outcomes
Outcome
Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and Proof of Training (POT) to apply for the California State Board licensing exam.
Student Requirements
Students are required to complete all program hours and pass a final examination with a minimum score of 85% in accordance with institutional standards.
